About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Amin Express Cargo website and to enquiries you send through it. Specific orders and shipments are governed by the quotation and order terms we give you at the time, which prevail if they differ.
Quotes and bookings
Quotes are based on the cargo details you provide (weight, dimensions, contents, origin and destination). If actual measurements differ, charges may change. Chargeable weight is the greater of actual and volumetric weight under the carrier's rule. Quotes expire on the date shown.
Your declarations
You must accurately describe the goods and their value, and tell us before booking if they contain batteries, liquids, chemicals, dangerous goods or other regulated items. You are responsible for the accuracy of documents you supply.
Customs
We coordinate customs documentation and clearance with the relevant brokers and authorities. Duties, taxes and penalties imposed by customs are payable by the shipper or consignee as agreed, and delays caused by inspections or holds are outside our control.
Liability and insurance
Our liability for loss or damage is limited as set out in the waybill and applicable law or convention. Cargo insurance is available only where we confirm a policy in writing; it is not implied by any quote.
Prohibited and restricted items
We cannot handle goods that are illegal or prohibited by the UAE, the carrier or the destination country. We may refuse, hold or return any item and will tell you the reason where the law allows.
Transit times
Any transit time we give is an estimate and not a guarantee, as it depends on carriers, customs and other factors outside our control.
Claims
Report loss or damage as soon as possible and within the period stated on your waybill or order terms, with photographs and supporting documents. Send claims to the contact details on this website.
